While the facelift has undergone many changes and innovations over the years, it is still the gold standard for rejuvenating the lower face, neck, and with modifications, the midface. That being said the most dramatic impact of a facelift is on the jowls and neck skin. Many facelifts can be done through smaller incisions hidden in front of the ear which can be combined with our minimally invasive Facetite® procedure requiring less downtime than traditional lifts. One more recent advance for the short incision facelift is called the MACS lift which changes the direction the skin is lifted to allow for significant improvement in the neck and jawline that at one time was only possible with more extensive incisions. That being said, older patients or those with more extensive anatomic needs, or those desiring more dramatic improvement may require a more traditional procedure with some additional recovery.

We are very excited to be the first practice in the area to offer Facetite® and Accutite® from Inmode. Facetite® and Accutite® are revolutionary minimally invasive radiofrequency handpieces that apply energy to the subcutaneous skin and fat to lift and tighten issues such as jowls, redundant neck skin, midfacial drooping, and excess eyelid skin. This is a great procedure for someone not needing or ready for a facelift, neck lift, or more formal eyelid lift. Incidence of complications is very small and usually minor.

This procedure is typically done through an entry point that is the size of a 22 gauge needle and can be done with very mild oral sedation. Downtime is typically a week or less with improvements seen over a 3-12 month period.

The Morpheus8® is a cutting edge completely non-surgical device that combines microneedling and radiofrequency that simultaneously remodels collagen and coagulates fat. This serves to tighten skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles and skin irregularities. Morpheus 8 can also help reduce active acne as well as acne and other types of scars. Compared to other non-surgical treatments we see more skin tightening but with little to no downtime. We will offer you the treatment and settings that maximize your result and minimize your loss of social activity.

Morpheus8® is most often done in a series with improvements seen in weeks to many months.
