Replace the lost volume and collagen.

Facial fillers have seen an exponential increase in the number of products, procedures performed and indications over the last 15 years. There are numerous products on the market that target specific aesthetic issues in multiple facial regions. These products are designed to replace the lost volume and collagen that invariably occurs after the age of 40 (earlier in many patients and patients also have more genetic anatomic issues that present earlier in life). It is important that your provider be an expert with knowledge of the products available, their indications as well as the anatomy and pathophysiology of the problem you are seeking to correct. Many injectors have minimal training which often results in suboptimal improvement, lumps, bumps or even complications from injecting product into local blood vessels. As a facial plastic surgeon Dr. Wolpoe has the knowledge, experience and expertise to devise a personalized treatment plan to use the correct filler and the correct manner to get you the best and most natural looking result.

The vast majority of fillers are made with hyaluronic acid, which is part of the collagen complex. These include products like Restylane® and Juvederm®. Depending on how the molecules are linked together these fillers have different properties. They can be thick or thin, stiff or malleable or can attract a great deal or very little water. Therefore it is important to find a provider such as Dr. Wolpoe that understands these nuances to give you the best possible result. In addition to hyaluronic acid fillers there are products on the market such as Radiesse® which is made from calcium hydroxyl appetite (something your body makes as a component of connective tissue and collagen) and Sculptra® which is made of poly-l- lactic acid (also naturally derived) that have robust lifting and collagen inducing properties. Though these products are remarkable, they are thicker and are technically more demanding to use. So it is even more important to seek out a knowledgeable and skilled provider when seeking these products. Dr. Wolpoe has the experience and expertise and will take the time to develop a treatment plan with you that meets your needs and leaves you looking refreshed and natural.

We offer a wide range of fillers including Juvederm Ultra XC, Volbella, Vollure, Voluma, Radiesse and Kybella.

Dr. Wolpoe spotted the anatomical problem within seconds of examining me, and even saw my previous nose break and which side it was on- a feat not accomplished by the ENT’s I’ve seen around here.
